Alexander Kerensky



Alexander Kerensky was premier of the Russian provisional government after the overthrow of the tsar in 1917. He was ousted by the Bolshevik revolution later that year. He taught at Stanford in the 1950s and 60s.

Bert Patenaude is a professor at Stanford and a fellow of the Hoover Institution. He is an award-winning author whose work has been adapted for the American Experience strand on PBS.
